
Jeddah (UNA) - The Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) extended its congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister, and the Saudi people, on the occasion of the Founding Day, which marks the anniversary of the founding of the first Saudi state in February 1727 AD by Imam Mohammed bin Saud.
The Acting Director General of the Union, Mohammed bin Abd Rabbuh Al-Yami, noted the great cultural renaissance that the Kingdom has witnessed throughout its ancient history, which has made it among the largest economies in the world, and a hub for enhancing regional and international security and stability, and supporting international cooperation efforts.
Al-Yami praised the Kingdom's great efforts to strengthen Islamic solidarity and support institutions for joint Islamic action, most notably the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and its affiliated bodies, to enable them to carry out their tasks in advancing the Islamic world and advocating for its issues.
