Tehran (INA) – Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh announced today, Sunday (December 27, 2015), that his country will reduce oil prices for the countries from which it imports it compared to the price recognized in the oil market, after the lifting of international sanctions imposed on it. Zanganeh said in a statement to the official Iranian News Agency that increasing oil exports after the lifting of sanctions is among Iran's priorities, and it decided to restore the volume of production to what it was before the imposition of sanctions. And the Iranian Oil Minister had revealed that with the beginning of lifting the embargo, the volume of Iranian production will increase by 500 barrels, and Iran will increase its supply to the market by another 500 barrels at the end of the Iranian year, which ends on March 20. It is noteworthy that Iran was exporting more than two million barrels per day before the imposition of international sanctions, but its sales fell to less than one million barrels per day after the ban.
